Spring 2019 125 POST-EXAM POINTS
Complete by Thursday, June 6
25 points: Tree Saving… 4 hours’ worth of work. Going on 1 of the 2 field trips – and actually working – earns the full 25 points. Points may be deducted for not working, or less than 4 hours of completed work. If you cannot make the field trips, photo-document your work! Take stills or video of your trees before and after collaring.
25 points: Collect, mount, identify and label 15 plant specimens. The list can be found BELOW. In the lower right-hand corner of your 8.5” x 11” specimen page hand-write the Scientific Name and Common Name of each specimen. NOTE: Double-check your work! Just because it’s in a legacy binder doesn’t mean it’s correct.
75 points: Specimen test. You will be given all 15 specimens, and you must correctly write out the Scientific Name and Common Name for each.
NOTES:
The 50% rule is out, meaning if you do nothing, you get zero points for that item (Tree Saving, Specimens, or Specimen Test).

Notes:
If your grade depends on this final work, then please don't cut it close, and leave me with a difficult judgement call. It may not go as you would like. I do not round up grades. For example, 89.9% is the highest 'B' you can get, but it is not an 'A'. Likewise, 79.9% is the highest 'C' a person can earn, but they did not earn a 'B'.
