To be done by 4/14: ASSIGNMENT: How Long Can the Human Population Keep Growing
To be done by 4/14: Go to the following link. Read about the graphic showing 3 types of survivorship curves. You don't have to know which is which type (I, II, or III), but you do need to be able to explain each of them like WHY would maple trees look like Type III?, and provide examples, Type II are often prey (food for other organisms) as well as being predators, and they typically have small broods, e.g. birds.

1) What, now, is happening to recycling that was once headed for China?
2) Do you think the 'new' recycling dynamic in the world will spurn innovation in the field?
3) How did the pictures make you feel?
4) What can you do, personally, about minimizing your use of the materials mentioned in the article? Remember REDUCE is far more valuable and impactful than RECYCLE!
